Pre‑ordered meat a day in advance and still had one of the most confusing experiences here. I called on the pickup day and the first person told me my order was already “picked up,” even though I hadn’t collected anything. They then started reading random names of other customers who ordered. When the call was passed to someone else, they immediately said they never received stock at all. So which one is true? If there was no stock, why accept pre‑orders? And how can my order show as “picked up” if nothing arrived? This kind of inconsistent information and lack of honesty defeats the whole purpose of pre‑ordering. Completely disappointed.

Really I don't think much of Indian food but this place hooked me up with the ingredients and the receipe to try something different and I liked it. Lot's of flavor and the receipe was not hard to follow and the lady that was explaining it could be doing her own cooking show and you would tune in whether the food was edible or not. 3 stars for the recommendation and 5 stars to the lady who recommended it.

Over the past two months, the biryani experience has been great. However, yesterday's order of chicken biryani fell short of expectations. Unlike previous orders, it contained only 4-5 small pieces, and rice also has a pasty texture, leaving me unsatisfied. Despite hoping to adjust during lunch, I found it difficult to have it. It's uncertain what caused the discrepancy—perhaps the chef or the ingredients. I've reached out to Peoria Bazaar to address the issue and maintain their previous quality standards.

An Indian grocery shop with lots of items. Halal meat can be found here. Some snacks and dessert items are also available specially on the weekends. There is a place to sit and eat. The behavior of the owner is really good and accommodating. Spices and Indian subcontinents products are mainly available.

Pros: One of the few grocery stores in Peoria where you can buy halal meat. I recommend calling ahead to check the availability and place order. The fresh produce section is okay, though not the largest (there are better alternatives in the area). Half of the store is very clean with renovated floors. The store is well lit and spacious. Cons: No price labels on anything. I see from other reviews that this has been a problem for at least TEN MONTHS at this point and it hasn’t changed. No way to know how much your grocery is gonna cost until you’re at the register. Very inconvenient.
